Daily Journal February 8, 1998, William Thomas Thompson. It is Sunday morning and very cold here in Daytona Beach, windy. The big race is today. I am in the Ocean Inn on the high sea at main and Atlantic Ave. I have just finished a brunch buffet at the Best Western North including fresh strawberries, salmon and more. My food for today is strawberries; they are in season near here now in Plant City Florida. They are very high in vitamin C and may have many untold wellness potentials. Florida is first. May the Gospel Message be told in visual art as high as Heaven? I want to get to a stopping place on painting before I leave the fort. I painted green masonry paint on the back of the tall stone looking building yesterday and I intend to paint a tree of life on it. It’s about 7 feet tall and about 8 feet wide. I also painted the long mini warehouse building that is cement block and plywood doors with white oil primer. It got dark but I painted with my car head lights. I keep finding more things to work with, A trailer house at the West corner is mahogany plywood lined and could be restored with little effort. On the tour with Buck yesterday, We took a good look at the old house. It has 4 rooms, a fireplace, A kitchen off the back with a storage room and porch. It needs a new roof covering and a ceiling in one of the main four rooms. Most of the house is finished with the old fashion wans coating wood ceilings and walls; it needs insulation and a sealer on the beautiful old black unpainted weather board outside finish. It needs a bathroom. I would like to live there. May I speak the wisdom of God and not my own wisdom Dear Lord? Proverbs 1-22 "How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23-Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you. May my thoughts be Holy as unto thee! Let us do our best and serve God with all our time. You know a good hotel when there is a stopper in the tub, the carpet is clean and the doors lock and unlock without making dents in your hands. You know a good restaurant when they have linens on the tables and a tall stainless steel cream pitcher with cow’s cream inside. One believes that if the appearance is good outside that the kitchen is also clean and the food is safe. Let us keep our lives clean and Holy as unto the Lord, waiting His coming soon and clean inside as well. I do not need the help of any neighbor when I have the Lord. I prayed that my car would start and it did. We all need neighbors, but when we are rejected, just be happy. We depend on God and not man. We need to learn to depend only on God for all things, fall in love with God, only God! The Word of God is power in any place to all people. The Billboard facing highway 16 toward the West at a 45 degree angle, I have primed and painted with trails of color coming down from heaven onto earth. I will paint the words "Earth" and the words "New Millennium" in large letters, On the back I have painted 3 crosses, using the 3 steel post sign structure as cross bases.
